ELECTION NOTICE

ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE PHILIPSTOWN NORTH HIGHLANDS FIRE DISTRICT

On December 12, 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Philipstown North Highlands Fire District will take place on December 12, 2023 between the hours of 6:00PM and 9:00PM at the North Highlands Engine Co. No. 1 Fire House located at 504 Fishkill Road, Cold Spring, N.Y. for the purpose of electing:

One Commissioner for a two (2) year term, commencing on January 1, 2024 and ending on December 31, 2025;

One Commissioner for a (3) year term, commencing on January 1, 2024 and ending on December 31, 2026;

One Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2028.

All voters registered with the Putnam County Board of Elections on or before November 22, 2023 shall be eligible to vote.

Candidates for District Office shall have notified the Secretary of the Philipstown North Highlands Fire District, in writing, of their intent to run for office, at the firehouse at 504 Fishkill Road, Cold Spring, N.Y., no later than twenty days before the election, November 22, 2023.
